Terracers should try to avoid becoming terrorists!

A very ugly looking ' retaining wall '
that has recently been built on a property
near Cobourg Ontario

It seems like landscapers can be divided into two groups - those who work skillfully with stones, doing nice walls and terracing, and those whose skill in designing and building stone terraces is completely lacking. Usually if they try to incorporate large rocks in a project it produces 'terrible' terrace results

Sometimes these 'terrace-ists' don't try very hard. They might just destroy the look of the garden with plastique.

Others are more in-terrace-sted in using metal and steel to set off all the aesthetic alarms.

Some landscapers terrace more indiscriminately. They often commit 'Random Stacks of Blindness'.
